Deputy Manager

TLG is an approved alternative educational provider with a Christian ethos.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our Nottingham Centre, which we operate in partnership with Trent Vineyard, a church with a vision to serve those who are marginalised.  We are seeking a Deputy Manager who will be part of and help to lead a small team of staff and volunteers, working to educate and transform the lives of disaffected young people. The role includes planning and delivering imaginative curricula and resources, alongside tried and tested methods of engagement.  The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with young people aged 11-16 with moderate to severe behavioural issues and/or special needs.  The role carries a genuine occupational requirement to be a practicing Christian.  Deadline for applications 20th February 2014 by 5 p.m.

Interview: Thursday 27th February  Start: April 2014, depending on notice period of current job.  Hours: 5 days a week (job share considered)
