We are seeking a Headteacher who will be good news for our community by bringing:

Leadership: full of vision and energy to embody the St. Luke’s Way, “Learning with passion, inspired by faith, preparing for the future.” Through a naturally relational approach, they will inspire excellence and full engagement from the staff, the students, the parents and intentionally strengthen partnerships with St Luke’s School’s many and diverse external stakeholders. We are hoping for a leader who will be a good active listener, caring, encouraging, and fun.

Passion for Learning: advancing the school’s spiritual and cultural development of the children as a foundation for building an excellence in teaching and curriculum delivery across all key stages. Oftsed has graded us a “Good” school, but our ambition is to be “Outstanding.”

Organisation so we can be Strategic about our future: stewarding the School’s resources, developing the staff, and working closely with the governors. The Headteacher will exude a positive entrepreneurialism about St Luke’s School’s future, with the leadership capacity to wisely guide building projects, grow the school, deepen connectivity with the community and other strategic objectives.

The pupils, staff, families and governors of St Luke’s School create a community, rooted in the Christian gospel, committed to working together for the good of our children. We do this by:

• Developing the learning, faith and aspirations of all children in order for them to achieve their full potential.

• Ensuring that children from all backgrounds are valued, included and supported through their academic life and that they learn to respect others.
