A level History teacher

Lebanon Evangelical School for Boys and Girls

An A level teacher of history is urgently required to teach our AS and A2 classes (approximately 12 and 5 students respectively). You will also need to teach history of  GCSE standard to one class in the equivalent of Year 11. Experience is desirable but not essential, and the post would suit newly qualified teachers, those in early retirement or anyone in between!.

The school is Evangelical in its ethos and practice, but attracts students from all backgrounds, most of whom are Lebanese (although a significant minority have dual nationality). For more information about the school, go to our website: http://www.lesbg.com/

Accommodation is provided in a flat on the school site (including all utilities), and a monthly allowance will be paid which covers living costs. The cost of one return flight per school year is also paid. It is possible that opportunities may be available in the school for a husband/wife to also be involved (and paid).

The school is situated on a hill just outside Beirut, with transport easily available into the city.

Despite often hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons, Lebanon is an amazing place to live and work.and we would welcome you to come and make a difference in the lives of some of its young people.

For further information, please contact the A level Coordinator, Ruth Brett, on rbrett@lesbg.com
