Parents in revolt at no homework policy.

It was meant to be an innovative policy, designed to foster independence and self-motivation.

But parents at Philip Morant School and College are in open revolt at the “no homework” policy, as they complain it will lead to a generation of children “flunking” their exams.

The school announced it was going to abolish homework in September 2016, with the principal Catherine Hutley saying she accepted the move would be controversial but was "genuinely excited" and was convinced students would benefit.
