for Christians working in education

Faith in the Market Place

Faith in the Market Place

Thursday 4th September 2014 7 p.m.

Ashburnham Christian Trust and Conference Centre, Sussex TN33 9NF

Bishop Richard Jackson, recently appointed as Bishop of Lewes,  will launch this series of fellowship/support/inspirational meetings for Christians in tough working environments.  Faith in the Market Place will act as an "umbrella" for regular meetings aimed at bringing together Christians in specific work and professions and will include Faith in Healthcare, Faith in Business and Faith in Education to join the already existing Faith in Politics and hopefully Faith in the Arts and Media. It is hoped each group will have 3 meetings a year devoted specifically to their needs, problems and aspirations. Ashburnham Christian Trust and Conference Centre is hosting these meetings free of charge as a service to resource the Christian body in the county.  A meeting especially for teachers and others involved in education should take place in November – but all those involved in education are invited to this launch meeting with Bishop Richard – a really inspiring speaker.
